300 Technology Square is the largest class A office building, with over 175,000 square feet of office space, in the one million square foot Technology Square complex in Cambridge, MA. The project, located on the former site of the Polaroid headquarters, was construction managed by Beacon Skanska Construction Co. High tech companies are attracted to the complex because of it’s proximity to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Campus. 300 Technology Square, developed by Beacon Capital Partners of Boston, MA and is clad with 572 architectural precast concrete wall panels. The panels have a light sand blast finish with a color resembling a light lime stone.

600 Technology Square
On the corner of Main and Portland Streets in Cambridge MA. sits 600 Technology Square, a 114,000 square foot office building. This four story building is clad with 456 architectural precast concrete wall panels totaling 28,000 square feet. The precast facade, with it’s light sandblasted texture, complements the appearance of the renovated buildings nearby. 600 Technology Square, leased by Akamai Technologies, is one of seven buildings situated within close proximity to each other on the Technology Square Complex. Totaling over one million square feet, technology Square is within walking distance of many area shops, hotels and restaurants.

700 Technology Square
This five story office building adjacent to Portland Street is part of the Technology Square complex in Cambridge, MA. Strescon Limited provided 285 precast concrete wall panels used to enclose 20,500 square feet of exterior wall. The project was part of a $100 million redevelopment of Technology Square. “Precast concrete was certainly an economical choice, but we also chose it for ease of construction and speed of erection” states Andy Moore, project executive with construction manager Beacon Skanska.
